Homecoming
....is a light-hearted drama about a family's struggle to find out what is truly important in life. The family includes a cantankerous, yet loving grandfather who wishes to live a life with few regrets, a pragmatic and stubborn son, and a grandson who struggles to find his own way as he grows to become a man. Each must now make some difficult decisions - decisions that could change their lives forever. Yet, these men are not alone, for there are strong and spirited women in their lives, who help open their eyes, teach them how to forgive and show them how to love.
This is a touching and often humorous story told across three generations as they deal with life's beginnings and endings, discovering what it really means to be a family along the way.
Welcome to our first "Second Stage" production at Hendelmeyer Park. We are pleased to present the second original play written by Don Gardner, Tim Maloney and Dave Helmink. If you saw "The Swordsman", the first of our original works by this very talented writing trio, you know we have a great evening in store for you.
