Take a Number Darling
by Jack Sharkey A comedy in three acts
Since concert pianist Duncan Latimer and his wife Ellen, famous soap opera star of Lust for Love, lead impeccable lives, their P.R. Lady, Gladys Nurmy, has no qualms over having a reporter, Bart Madden, from a scandal magazine interview them.
But just before he arrives, so does Duncan's old Navy buddy, Bill Rutledge (and Ellen's former lover from her literally messy past ~ she was at one time a New York City garbage collector) also arriving on the scene at same time is an extra wife, Ilona Valdez, Duncan forgot to tell anyone about.
When everyone discovers that the reporter has secretly recorded their conversations, they decide to give him more stories than he bargained for, with hilarious results.
